Trader Joe’s Shrimp Fried Rice, Spicy Thai

This Trader Joe’s shrimp fried rice has baby corn, carrots, thai red chilis and other veggies all mixed with shrimp for a texture and flavor parade. It isn’t the best tasting shrimp fried rice I’ve had, but especially if you make it on the stove top by cooking the shrimp first, it actually turns out really well. It’s slightly spicy and has a pleasant salty taste to it. Making it in the microwave can be a tad dicier in terms of texture, but the same basic flavors still come through…….…….

Trader Joe’s Spicy Thai Shrimp Fried Rice

Trader Joe’s shrimp fried rice is one of many, many Asian inspired entrees in the TJ’s frozen section. I’d put this among the better options in terms of taste, but it’s not ideal that you really need to make it on the stove top to make it taste really good. I do like what they’ve done mixing the chilis with the other Asian flavors to give this shrimp stir fry a little more kick than your average stir fry. How would everyone compare the taste of this to other favorite TJs frozen Asian entrees? And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
