Trader Joe’s Rice Noodles, Brown Pasta Fusili

These Trader Joe’s rice noodles are gluten free and have a good taste to them that is similar to whole wheat pasta. It cooks up just like regular pasta and is a really good substitute for regular fusili noodles. Trader Joe’s has a bunch of gluten free wheat pasta alternatives now, and this is among the best tasting. I think because this is made with rice and not things like lentils or black beans, it has a particularly pasta like texture and taste. Just make sure not to overcook this when you’re boiling it since they can turn mushy and slimy if they are left in too long. As with most Trader Joe’s gluten free pasta alternatives, these are best eaten al dente! Keep in mind these also come in a penne variety………….

Organic Brown Rice Noodles at Trader Joe’s

It wasn’t that long ago that it was super hard to find any gluten free pasta alternatives. Now Trader Joe’s carries so many different ones that it’s hard to keep track of. There is the Trader Joe’s black bean pasta, the Trader Joe’s Red Lentil Pasta, and a few other gf pastas. What is everyone’s favorite recipe or way to eat these organic brown rice noodles from TJs? I usually eat them when I’m trying to eat really healthy so a good chicken breast dish goes perfectly with this pasta. I have a hard time choosing a Trader Joe’s sauce always, so if you don’t make your own, which pasta or marinara sauce does everyone usually use with these noodles? I guess you can kind of splurge on the sauce when everything else is so healthy!…..
