Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Cups

These Trader Joe’s peanut butter cups made with dark chocolate are delicious. They have way better ingredients than Reese’s peanut butter cups do, like a lack of artificial flavoring. These are a tad more expensive than regular Reese’s peanut butter cups, but the taste is excellent. There are several versions of these, including mini peanut butter cups, milk chocolate peanut butter cups and now almond peanut butter cups. I guess people really love Trader Joe’s peanut butter cups! I usually prefer milk chocolate to dark chocolate in terms of taste, but these are surprisingly creamy, rich and often eaten in a day or two. Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

I’m not sure there are many happier places on earth than the sweets aisle at Trader Joe’s. I tell myself to just get one or two treats, but then I see the sea salt caramels, chocolate covered almonds, Scandinavian swimmers, etc etc. Some version of peanut butter cups, maybe the mini ones, are definitely in my top 5 TJs sweets all time. Does everyone like the dark chocolate or milk chocolate version of these better? I suppose dark chocolate is healthier but there is nothing like the taste of milk chocolate with the peanut butter waiting inside. I am not saying I’ve dipped these in Trader Joe’s peanut butter before, but the thought has crossed my mind. Let me know any crazy combos you’ve done with different TJs sweets and treats!…..
