Trader Joe’s Mozzarella, Fresh Cheese Ball

This Trader Joe’s mozzarella cheese is incredibly fresh tasting with a perfect texture to cut in slices for caprese salad or melting over a pizza in the oven. Fresh mozzarella balls can sometimes have a slimy, not very fresh feel and taste to them, but I’ve found that these Trader Joe’s mozzarella balls always have a really nice taste and texture to them. They are also a great value compared to nearly every other grocery store that carries national fresh mozzarella cheese brands. Similar mozzarella balls can sell for over $5 or $6 at gourmet groceries, but both Trader Joe’s and Aldi seem to have the best priced mozzarella of any national grocery…..…….

Fresh Mozzarella Cheese at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s mozzarella cheese comes in a few different forms, including ciliegine (smaller mozzarella balls) and a larger fresh mozzarella log. They are all priced really fairly and taste fresh and tangy. What is everyone’s favorite TJs mozzarella cheese item? If anyone has a go to recipe to use the different types of TJ’s mozzarella cheese, let us know! There’s not many cheeses that taste amazing with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar drizzled over them raw with tomatoes and equally as delicious melted over a margherita pizza in the oven. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
