This version of Trader Joe’s Hot Sauce has jalapenos in it for a nice spicy kick. But this isn’t crazy hot like the Trader Joe’s habanero hot sauce. This is perfect to use on eggs or to spice up dips or sauces without adding a super strong amount of heat. There is no calories in this hot sauce and for a price of under $2, this had been a solid pantry staple of mine for years. This TJ’s sauce shouldn’t be confused for the Trader Joe’s jalapeno sauce that I reviewed, which is a smooth, creamy concoction that is also delicious. And of course there is the really unique Japanese Yuzu sauce that has a hint of spice with a sweet and savory kick…..…….

Trader Joe’s Jalapeno Hot Sauce
So many Trader Joe’s Hot Sauces, so little time. I get overwhelmed going through the hot sauce portion of the aisle, but that’s only because I live in fear of missing out on a super delicious hot sauce that I somehow overlooked. I like to use this jalapeno hot sauce in a wing sauce with melted butter, and then add the fairly new fermented jalapeno peppers in a jar that Trader Joe’s now carries. What is everyone’s favorite hot sauce? Is there a go to dish you use each hot sauce for? I think if I was forced to choose I like the yuzu sauce the best. It’s so unique and delicious and I also love the little stubby bottle it comes in! There really isn’t a bad sauce at Trader Joe’s, as long as you can handle some unexpected heat…..
