This Trader Joe’s green chili sauce has a really nice herbal and spice taste to it, with a decent amount of sweetness and just a slight spicy kick. This is a Thai style sauce modeled after Nam Prik Noom, and is great for dipping meats or veggies into. You could even use it as a marinade for a Thai tasting fish or meat dish. I was surprised by the sweetness in this that was more apparent than any spiciness. I like this Trader Joe’s chili sauce a lot, and would definitely buy it again. It comes in a little 7.3 ounce glass jar, but the pungent and strong flavors go a long way. I ended up dipping some grilled chicken in this Nam Prik Noom sauce and I think it really complements proteins well………….

Nam Prik Noom Green Chili Sauce at Trader Joe’s
This Thai style green chili sauce is a nice addition to the condiments and sauce aisle at Trader Joes. The subtle sweetness of it without being very spicy is a nice way to mix it up with veggies or meat. What is everyone’s favorite way to use this in a recipe they’ve made with this chili sauce?! I’ll be curious to find out how people compare this to the other Thai curry and chili sauces that Trader Joe’s carries. I think I’ll keep a few of these in my pantry for the next time I grill some chicken. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..

Trader Joe’s pad thai review
LOVE this chile sauce from Trader Joe’s! We have found that it makes a perfect seasoning base for Thai-style Gai Yang BBQ chicken, standing in for at least three or four of the ingredients in the original recipe. Today I plan to try it as a variation on a recipe for Chile Lime Corn on the BBQ.
