Trader Joe’s Ginger, Ground Spices of the World

This Trader Joe’s ginger comes in a 1.2 ounce jar, is finely ground, and is part of the TJs spices of the world collection. This ginger has a really pungent and fresh taste to it, and is perfect for adding to Asian dishes or anything else that calls for the distinct taste of ground ginger. There are a bunch of different ginger items at TJs other than this ground ginger, including Trader Joe’s ginger chews, 100% ginger drink mix, ginger snaps and cookies, candied ginger, and of course plain old ginger. Basically you can buy any form of it you want! If you’re looking to make ginger tea, I’d go for the ginger drink mix, but for seasoning dishes and recipes, this little glass jar is perfect………….

Trader Joe’s Ground Ginger

Ginger has a really unique taste to it that it seems like people either hate or love. I like the nuanced flavor it adds to things, and have even occasionally started drinking ginger tea using the Trader Joe’s Ginger drink mix. What is everyone’s favorite way to use this in a recipe or anything else that calls for ginger? I’m curious to know if people that use different types of ground ginger from other stores can tell any difference in taste or how finely ground it is? Either way, keep this in your pantry for when you need an interesting added spice. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
