Trader Joe’s Fish Nuggets, Battered

These Trader Joe’s fish nuggets have a really good crunchy, crispy texture and taste to them if you make them in the air fryer or even in a regular oven. These fish stick style frozen treats are made with Alaskan pollock, a type of white fish used in a lot of restaurants fried fish entrees. Trader Joe’s fish nuggets are especially good and easy now that air fryers are common place for making frozen fried food taste almost like a restaurant dropped them in the deep fryer…….…….

Battered Fish Nuggets at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s fish nuggets are perfect for the air fryer because of the generous batter TJs puts on these little seafood nuggets. How does everyone like to make these? If anyone has a favorite sauce, like cocktail sauce or tartar sauce to go with these, let us know! And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..

  1. By far the best frozen ‘fish stick’ product that I’ve eaten. The batter is not heavy, but light and crispy. It’s made of whole pieces NOT minced. Seems like most products I love from Trader Joe’s get discontinued, I’m hoping that this Rave will keep these ‘Nuggets’ in the frozen cases.

  2. TJ’s Harissa mixed with mayo and a squeeze of lemon is a go-to sauce that I would try with these fish nugs.
