This Trader Joe’s Ezekiel bread is a flourless sprouted bread that has a little more chewiness and crunch to it than normal bread. The sprouted berries are throughout the bread, and this sesame version gives it a nice added flavor kick. It isn’t the best tasting bread in the world but it is super healthy and unprocessed compared to regular bread. Keep in mind, there is now a Trader Joe’s sprouted bread with the TJs label on it also.
There has always been a bunch of good bread alternatives in the bakery section at TJ’s but Ezekiel bread has become super popular. Dave’s Killer Bread has been a really popular traditional bread alternative for several years now also. Spread some peanut butter on this Trader Joe’s Ezekiel bread and you have a healthy and nutritious snack. This Ezekiel bread is also priced at under $5, well below places like Whole Foods and other grocers…..…….

Trader Joe’s Bread
Sprouted bread, Ezekiel bread, Dave’s Killer bread. No one knew what any of these things were not that long ago, but now there’s almost an entire mini section of these at grocery stores. What is everyone’s favorite sprouted bread to use? The Ezekiel 4:9 bread has several different varieties and all are seemingly fairly healthy. Let me know your go to Ezekiel bread and what you like to put on it? These breads toast up well and retain the little sprouted berries that give the bread a decent texture. Just don’t expect a strong tasting bread with a ton of sugar added. If you are looking for Wonder white bread (who didn’t love that as a kid) then this will most definitely not be your jam! Check out these other options if you can’t make it to TJs in person…..
