Trader Joe’s Empanadas, Chicken and Chimichurri

These Trader Joe’s empanadas with chicken and chimichurri are a solid addition to the Tjs frozen Mexican inspired meals. These have a really nice and salty flavor to them, with a good chimichurri taste. They aren’t that big and don’t have a ton of chicken in them, so I would say paying over $4 for these seems a tad steep. That being said, if you make these in the oven or air fryer, you can get the outside nice and crispy for a really unique frozen snack………….

Chimichurri & Chicken Empanadas at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s empanadas have come in a few different varieties over the years, including the pumpkin empanadas and cassava empanadas. These Trader Joe’s chicken and chimichurri empanadas aren’t my absolute favorite snack, but they are probably worthy of keeping in the back of your freezer for when you get lazy. How does everyone like these compared to other empanadas you’ve had, especially frozen ones? Trader Joe’s frozen entrees can be hit or miss, especially with how filling they are, and I would put these on the snack end rather than entree portion end. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
