Egg whites can be used in a bunch of recipes, including for things like meringue or egg white omelettes. They are fat free and cholesterol free and are definitely paleo and keto friendly. They have a shelf life of around 7 days once they are opened, and the easy to pour carton is perfect for adding to a pan or into a mixing bowl for recipes. Some national brands add other junk to egg whites, but these only have one ingredient and as a nice bonus they are from cage free hens. Cage Free 100% Liquid Egg Whites at Trader Joe’s
I feel like egg whites used to be a lot more popular than than they are today, but these have been a staple at Trader Joe’s for awhile now. What is everyone’s favorite recipe or way to use these liquid egg whites? If anyone has a go to meringue pie recipe that you use egg whites in I’d love to know! The nice thing about using liquid egg whites is there’s no leftover shell or cleanup. Plus, you get an entire pound of pure egg whites for just $3.99, so they are actually pretty economical too. For people that don’t eat egg yolks but still want a good amount of protein from eggs, this is a great product. Just make sure to double check the date since they don’t last as long as you’d expect since there aren’t any preservatives in them!…..

Never buy this product for a recipe that needs whipped eggwhites for baking. They Do Not Work, contrary to some comments online. I added lemon juice at the foaming stage, whipped for about 20 minutes. Never get past the foaming stage. Will never buy this product again.
Bought these to make tiramisu (the semi-proper version with egg whites but no egg yolks, and definitely no cream) and I was very disappointed as these do not whip. They just foam a bit but do not become stiff. I was very sad. I then spilt them on the floor and became more sad. So do not buy if you want to make tiramisu.
