This Trader Joe’s corn salsa is a sweet salsa that goes really well with seafood or for dipping tortilla chips in. The official name is Trader Joe’s Corn and Chile Tomato Less Salsa, so the fact that there are no tomatoes set this apart from your average salsa. And while tomatoes naturally provide a lot of sugar to most salsas, this one has a good amount of added sugar mixed up with the corn and peppers. I like tossing shrimp or ceviche in this salsa since the sweetness and the corn provide a really nice counter balance to seafood. This stuff is definitely addictive, so if you think you’ll just dip a few chips in this and put it back in the refrigerator, you would be wrong. I would say there’s basically no way to eat fewer than 10 chips with this corn salsa heaped on top!…..…….

Trader Joe’s Corn and Chile Tomato-less Salsa
There are so many good salsa options at Trader Joe’s, both super healthy and not so healthy. This is definitely one of the less healthy ones, but that’s not really the point of this corn salsa. It’s hard to find a good sweet salsa that has only corn and peppers in it, especially one that doesn’t have a ton of awful, weird ingredients. I like the Trader Joe’s Salsa Verde and the Pineapple Salsa the best out of the salsas, but this one is also near the top. What is everyone’s favorite recipe or way to eat this TJs salsa? One of the best ways I like to eat this is loading it on top of baked or microwaved nachos after they come out hot and bubbling with cheese. When you combine cheese, chips, sour cream, guacamole, and this sweet corn salsa, you basically have created heaven on a plate! Give these products a shot if you can’t make it out to TJs…..
