This Trader Joe’s boba ice cream is new for 2021, is non dairy, made with coconut milk, and has little tapioca boba balls mixed in throughout the pint. This has a really smooth and good texture that really feels like you’re eating regular ice cream with milk in it. The boba balls are a tad smaller than ones you’d see in a boba drink that’s served with those big old straws at a lot of tea places, but add a really good texture and fun chewiness to the non dairy ice cream pint. I like the Trader Joes cold brew coffee taste of the ice cream, but its definitely not the best coffee ice cream I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a way to mix it up and have a fun pint of of non dairy ice cream, this Trader joe’s cold brew coffee and boba ice cream is a winner………….

Trader Joe’s Boba Ice Cream Made with Cold Brew Coffee
Most of the Trader Joe’s non dairy ice cream products over the years have a really good taste and texture to them, and this is no exception. I sort of wish the coffee ice cream had a tad sweeter, more nuanced flavor to it, but overall this is a really good pint of non dairy coconut milk ice cream.
The little tapioca boba balls are always fun to chew on, although I sort of was hoping they were going to be the same size as those big boba tapioca balls that coffee and tea houses serve! And I should point out that this doesn’t taste at all like coconut despite being made with coconut milk. What does everyone think of the taste of this TJs ice cream? And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
