These Trader Joe’s dark chocolate covered plantain chips are a new product for 2021, have a great slight sweetness coupled with the savoriness of the plantain chips. These are really, really addictive and I usually just eat the whole bag in one sitting! A lot of the dark chocolate drizzle ends up falling off the plantain chips, which is perfect for tipping back the bag straight into your mouth. These are definitely not as sweet overall as you would think, but the saltiness and sweetness of the dark chocolate, sea salt and plantains work perfectly together. There isn’t a ton of plantain chips in the resealable bag at only 6 ounces, but for under $3 and with a super unique and pleasant taste profile, a bag of these are always in my pantry now. ………….

Do you like the fact they aren’t overly sweet but still have a really good salty and sweet flavor to them?
