These Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Chicken Burgers are a slight variation on the traditional chicken burger patties found at TJ’s. These are priced right at under $4, with four patties in each box. The ingredients are fairly simple and healthy. It’s mostly just ground chicken, spices and lime. As for the flavor, they are subtle but not bad. You get a slight taste of lime, with a teeny tiny bit of spice. These won’t blow you away, but they are a solid option when you don’t want to eat beef. Keep in mind, part of the reason they don’t taste like some other ground chicken burgers is the ingredients are not super unhealthy with added junk………….

Chili Lime Chicken Burgers at Trader Joe’s
Now you can cook these really any way you’d cook regular burgers, just keep in mind they are a lot less fatty than beef so they can dry out if you overcook them. The positive is you can put them on the grill or in a pan on the stove and they wont flare up or splatter grease like beef burger patties would. While I do like these when I want to mix it up, I usually go for the original Trader Joe’s chicken burgers or turkey burgers. Mainly because I like adding a bunch of different toppings like lettuce, tomato, maybe a spicy mayo. And sometimes I prefer the neutral taste of plain ground chicken. How does everyone like to cook these chili lime discs? Any go to recipes or sauces that you top them with!? Are you allowed to add Trader Joe’s chili lime seasoning to this, or is that overkill?…..

Trader Joe’s chicken sausage review
Awful!! Could not finish burger because of all the chicken bones in meat. SO disappointed. I will not but these again or recommend them. 😬
OH MY GOSH! I just tried one today and my first bite had a bone. So gross. I agree- not eating that again.
What a crock. I have been eating these for years and they never have bones in them. They are delicious.
Geez, Linda! Bet you feel stupid after seeing the recall a month later, aye?
