This Trader Joe’s chicken is an old product that has been brought back by TJs in 2021 and is incredibly tasty with a good combo of sweetness and smokiness. This is bbq pulled chicken sitting in a hickory barbecue sauce that has already been cooked using the sous vide method. It’s super simple to heat this up and put it on a sandwich or have it with some vegetables and sides. I really like this Trader Joe’s pulled chicken for how well the flavors come together, especially compared to the first version of this several years back………….

BBQ Pulled Chicken at Trader Joe’s
There is an increasing number of pre-cooked meats that are sitting in delicious sauces and vacuum packed in places like Costco and Trader Joe’s. This is a nice addition, and seems like the first of many pre cooked meals like this that TJs could introduce. I have noticed Costco essentially now has an entire aisles of pre cooked refrigerated protein focused meals like this. The one major negative is the amount of sodium it takes to make already cooked meats last. How would everyone compare this Trader Joe’s chicken to other pre cooked meals they’ve had from places like Costco? And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
