Trader Joe’s Bruschetta Sauce

This Trader Joe’s Bruschetta Sauce is made up of roma tomatoes, basil, olive oil and garlic. It is not to be confused with the canned bruschetta at Trader Joe’s that is also delicious. This TJs bruschetta sauce goes perfectly on a crisped up baguette or on top any Italian dish that needs a bit of a flavor bomb. I sometimes end up using the canned bruschetta more because it lasts longer, but this version of Trader Joe’s bruschetta sauce that needs to be refrigerated tastes a lot fresher and livelier. The great thing about this bruschetta sauce is that it can be used on so many different dishes because the flavors are simple and delicious……..…….

Bruschetta Sauce at Trader Joe’s

What does everyone love to put this yummy stuff on? I do eat this out of the container with a spoon often, but usually eventually get around to putting it on my chicken or on a piece of torn off baguette. I’d imagine there are some really good recipes out there with simple and healthy ingredients that recreate this bruschetta sauce. As convenient and delicious as this Trader Joe’s bruchetta sauce is, it does seem fairly straightforward.

Has anyone made an even better version of this with fresh ingredients or with a unique combination of added ingredients? I love all things Italian cooking so I think I need to start using this combo of ingredients more since the flavors go together so well. I still haven’t tried the TJ’s lentil salad recipe that includes this in it but I am definitely going to try and add this to different boring salads I make in the future for a flavor infusion! Check out these other options if you can’t make it to a TJs…….

  1. I will always opt for the homemade bruschetta over the store bought stuff, BUT…….if I had to pick 1 from the store, it would be this Trader Joe’s bruschetta sauce. I’m a sucker for carbs, so if I have this in the fridge, it usually means I’m eating a loaf of bread & bruschetta for dinner.

  2. Andy, I totally agree that if you absolutely have to eat a store bought one, this Trader Joe’s bruschetta sauce is the best option I’ve found. Maybe this one on weeknights, and homemade on a weekend!

  3. Thanks for clarifying that there’s a refrigerated version and a shelf-stable jarred version. I read about the famed lentil-bruschetta salad and bought the wrong one, apparently.
