Trader Joe’s Alfredo Sauce

This Trader Joe’s alfredo sauce is a solid choice for alfredo sauce out of a jar. It has a good cheese and pepper flavor and is thick enough to feel like a hearty meal when you add it to pasta. It does have ‘natural’ cheese flavor which is a bit of a bummer, but that’s become standard in many products at TJs. This is a classic standby to have in your pantry.

But with the introduction in the last several years of Trader Joe’s lemon alfredo sauce and black truffle alfredo sauce, this has taken a back seat. The limone alfredo is among my favorite sauces at Trader Joe’s. The only thing with some of the alfredo sauces at TJ’s is the natural flavoring can sometimes stand out a bit too much for my liking, both in the black truffle and the original. But in the end, alfredo sauce is almost impossible to not be delicious….…….

Alfredo Sauce at Trader Joe’s

I think we all love alfredo sauce so much that TJs decided to make a number of different varieties of it. The Trader Joe’s black truffle alfredo sauce is delicious, but you really have to like the strong taste of black truffles. In any case, this original TJs alfredo sauce packs a a nice rich flavor, and is super simple to heat up and dump on some pasta or mix with some shrimp. What is everyone’s favorite recipe to use with this alfredo sauce? Is there a go to type or shape of pasta people always use depending on which type of alfredo sauce they are heating up? Now to find a good homemade alfredo sauce recipe…..
