These Trader Joe’s protein burgers, or Protein patties as TJs calls them, come in a 2 pack of 1/4 lb vegan burgers and are a pretty good version of the increasingly popular plant based burgers category. Meatless burgers can now be found pretty much everywhere, and I like this Trader Joe’s protein patties version a lot. It may not crisp up quite as much as a regular burger, but because of the beets that are incorporated into the vegan pea protein meat, there is a nice pink juiciness in the center of the cooked patty. These aren’t the greatest meatless, vegan, plant based burgers I’ve ever had, but they lack a lot of the weird ingredients in national brands’ beyond burger products and have a solid taste to them. Plus they are priced really well at $4.49 for 8 ounces. ………….

Trader Joe’s Protein Patties, Plant Based Burgers
There are a few different plant based meatless meat alternatives at Trader Joe’s, but these fresh vegan protein burgers are among my favorite. What does everyone think of these protein patties? I’m curious how people compare the taste and texture of these to other meatless alternatives.
