This Trader Joe’s Mochi Cake mix is chewy, subtly sweet and has a rich, buttery taste to it. The fact this is Trader Joe’s gluten free cake mix is shocking to me considering how good it tastes. Mochi has a really unique chewiness to it unlike any other pastry or cake, so it seems to work perfectly in offsetting what you’re missing by not having any gluten in the cake mix. Now I still prefer the Trader Joe’s Ube Mochi Pancakes in terms of taste (and color!), but this mochi cake mix is a really unique and tasty option whether or not you eat gluten free! Just don’t forget butter and eggs, and you’ll be good to go………….

Trader Joe’s Mochi Cake Mix
There are so many Trader Joe’s cake mixes that I love, but when I saw that this was back on the shelves, I was ecstatic. Nothing tastes or feels quite like mochi, and this is a relatively healthy, gluten free option. What does everyone think about this in terms of taste and texture? Is there a different mochi cake mix that you prefer at other groceries? I like having a box of this in my pantry for when I get the craving for this super one of a kind Trader Joe’s cake. If anyone has a super unique or creative mochi recipe they like, I would love to hear about it! And if you can’t make it to TJs, give these items a try…..
