Trader Joe’s Medjool Dates, Organic Pitted

These Trader Joe’s medjool dates are organic, pitted and have a grat chewy, gooey sweetness to them. You can eat them right out of the container, or put them in shakes, baking or pie recipes. Medjool dates are among the most unique tasting foods that you wouldn’t think would have as much flavor and texture to them. If you haven’t tried this particular type of date grown in California, give this Trader Joe’s version a shot. And these are priced around $5 for 12 ounces depending on what part of the country you’re in, which is a great deal considering how much places like Whole Foods charge………….

Trader Joe’s Medjool Dates

I love to buy these dates and just eat them standing over my counter right out of the container! There’s something about the gooey, thick and sweet taste of these that is completely addictive without feeling like you are eating super unhealthy. What is everyone’s favorite recipe or way to use these dates? If anyone has a delicious pie or shake recipe that incorporates these dates, I’d love to hear about it! Dates add a really good flavor when you blend them in things like shakes or smoothies. They also add a thicker consistency to things that is really delicious, especially in baked goods like pies and cookies. And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..
