This Trader Joe’s instant cold brew coffee is a super convenient and easy way to make good tasting cold brew coffee (or even hot) without having to do any work. It comes in a glass bottle and looks almost like Folgers instant coffee used to look, but the taste is a lot better. The coffee is apparently from India, and the way its been ground, it doesn’t leave any graininess or flakes of coffee. Everything pretty much dissolves whether you add cold water to it or hot water. As far as the taste of the coffee that it makes, it has somewhat of a toasted and slightly tinny taste to it, but overall this is really good for an instant coffee. It may taste a tad burned in the aftertaste and not have as much depth of flavor as regular cold brew, but this is a really intriguing, easy option.

Instant Cold Brew Coffee at Trader Joe’s
There’s no reason a jar of this Trader Joe’s instant cold brew coffee shouldn’t always be in your pantry. And the great thing is you can make coffee without any electricity. You just need a cup of cold water. Obviously you can’t go in expecting this to taste like a gourmet cup of cold brew, but it definitely gets the job done. What is everyone favorite cold brew recipe, or fun way to mix it up when you drink cold coffee? If anyone has had this both hot and cold, I’m curious to know what you think tastes better. Either way, this is a cool concept to have coffee that only requires cold water, and doesn’t taste bad. And if you can’t make it out to TJs in person, give these items a try…..
