Trader Joe’s Olive Oil, Extra Virgin

This Trader Joe’s olive oil is a great value compared to other groceries like Whole Foods, and has a really nice fruity and nutty taste to it. It goes great drizzled over caprese salad or mixed with some Trader Joe’s Balsamic vinegar for a healthy dressing. There are a bunch of different varieties of olive oil now at TJs so it can be difficult to determine the best one at any given time. They now have infused olive oils, blended Mediterranean olive oil, and various other types. I tend to stick with this traditional olive oil for cooking or simple recipes, but some of the infused olive oils are really delicious. And if you are buying the equivalent amount of extra virgin olive oil at most other grocery stores, you can expect to pay around $10 compared to around $7 at TJ’s…….…….

Best Trader Joe’s Olive Oil

Trader Joe’s extra virgin olive oil is an old staple at TJs, and one of the original great values at the store. For a long time this was one of the only olive oils sold, but I’d love to know these days what everyone thinks the best Trader Joe’s olive oil is at this point. There has been a lot of different studies and articles written about different olive oils and how accurate and pure they really are compared to their labeling. TJs olive oil has consistently scored high marks for their labeling and olive oil purity, so it’s always good to have the TJ’s label behind any products. Similar to the benefits of TJ’s making manufacturers take out unhealthy ingredients for products made for Trader Joe’s. Check out these options if you can’t make it to TJs…..
